ZAI Technologies is the first company in the Kingdom to launch a computer assembly unit. Saudi Arabia's first branded computer "ZAI" is being assembled in ZAI Technologies PC Factory in Riyadh. The Establishment of this "ZAI" comes as a result of close cooperation between AFG (Al-Faisaliah Group), Microsoft Saudi Arabia & Intel Corporation under the name of " Al-Faisaliah PC Factory ZAI". ZAI has become Intel's first premier provider of total solutions in the Middle East. ZAI is also the only PC factory in the Middle East that is certified by Microsoft's Windows Hardware Quality Lab (WHQL) in the United States.

ZAI has been established according to the most moden international standards. It is the first fully automated assembly line to produce PCs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Quality procedure applied in assembling ZAI computer is extremely high. The factory operates ISO 9001 & 9002 procedure. The computer are assembled in very healthy and clean environments using the latest equipment. All PCs has to pass the test of Quality and standard of PCs by Quality Manager before shipped out to the market. Technical support and warranty services are being provided by 150 specialized engineer's working at 13 different service centers Kingdom wide to ensure that customers get the best & fastest service after-sales.

ZAI assemble line started early October 2000. Production at the ZAI may be geared to meet any market demand. Current capacity of Production is set at 120,000 PCs per year.

ZAI achived Best of the Best award from PC Magazine in July 2001, Pinch Mark Test from Windows Magazine in October 2001, Windows User Award of Excellence: Accredited as Windows User Top 50 product of 2001, Editor Choice from Windows Magazine in March 2002, Best value Family PC award from Windows Magazine in August 2002, PC Manufacturer of the year 2003 from PC Magazine and Best Performance Award from Windows Magazine in June 2005.

Early 2005, International Computer Company (ICC), one of the major player in KSA IT market, has joined Al Faisaliah to support ZAI ambitious business to form the distribution arm for ZAI technologies, International Computer Company which has been known for its strength in distribution, this partnership expected to develop ZAI brand and lead it to reach where it should be, one of premier branded PC in the market.
